Environment-friendly mobile phone maybe will be new trends in the future. A number of global mobile phone manufacturer recently introduced a number of prototype phones that are expected to reduce pollution which was caused from power generation and electronic waste.

One of the environment friendly mobile phone which was popular Blue Earth. That phone is manufactured by Samsung. This includes the concept of mobile phone-friendly environment that is among the most innovative competitors. Samsung said, Samsung Blue Earth is a first touch screen mobile phone that uses solar energy. Blue Earth solar panel located on the back of the phone. Blue Earth user can recharge the battery with the energy to catch the sun through solar panels that phone.

However, Samsung does not explain the ability of the phone that the sun’s energy. For example, how long the Blue Earth should absorb sunlight to charge the battery up to full. Also, Samsung does not reveal detailed technical profile Blue Earth. Samsung just revealed, Blue Earth equipped with the user interface that is designed to promote environmentally friendly lifestyles.

Blue Earth users are also provided for ease of set the light intensity and duration of the Bluetooth wireless connectivity. By reducing the light intensity and duration of use of display technology, mobile phone users that can significantly cut energy consumption of a mobile phone. Also, Blue Earth has a feature built-in pedometer that is unique.

With the pedometer, the Blue Earth user can calculate how much carbon dioxide pollution that can be prevented when users walk, not ride vehicles that use fuel oil. Samsung says, Blue Earth made of recycled plastic called PCM, which is extracted from the plastic bottles used wrapping water. By using materials from the plastic bottles used, production of Blue Earth is expected to take part to reduce the volume of waste plastic.

Not only that, the production of mobile phone recycling material is also able to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and fuel consumption in factories manufacturing process. Samsung guarantee, Blue Earth and mobile phone charger is also free of hazardous materials such as Brominated Flame Retardants, Beryllium, and Phthalate. Blue Earth so that the more environmentally friendly, Samsung mobile phone is also complete with a box made of recycled paper.

Samsung is also aware that the Blue Earth users will not be able to always recharge the battery with the phone that the sun’s energy. Blue Earth when the user is not got a ’season’ the phone, then when the battery power runs out, users have to do with the electric charging back normal. Samsung claims, while Blue Earth must be re-filled with traditional electricity, mobile phones are equipped with environmentally friendly because the energy efficient charger, that only electricity mengonsumsi less than 0.03 watts in standby.

“Blue Earth is a small example of Samsung’s commitment to the future of our environment. We are committed to achieving the highest status with environmentally friendly products provide the most environmentally friendly and campaigning activities saving the environment, “said Executive Vice President Samsung Electronics Co Ltd Shin JK.

Apart from the exposure of the hospitality environmental Samsung Blue Earth, Samsung does not explain the plan to market the phone. This is a contrast difference between the Samsung and its competitors.
