The purchase of a computer is to collect as much information as possible before embarking on the acquisition.

If not, it may happen that we have a team that does not respond to the reality of our minimum needs.

In the case of highly specialized models, this discrepancy between what we need and what we buy is made even more remarkable.

The netbooks, for example, have been the best sellers in recent months, but also those who have had a higher rate of returns.

Apparently, they are equal to any laptop, but being smallest. In practice, have limitations that many users will not be offset by its undeniable virtues.

The display of only 1024 x 600 dots or points in a modest performance for gaming or multimedia are obstacles to the widespread acceptance of the residential market, except as a second or third computer.

It is easy for a NETBOOK become a favorite once you leave home, but at the same time and is played once it comes back at home until the following day.

The doubts are clearly the user’s needs and each has a budget higher or lower to buy a notebook or a NETBOOK.

More netbooks to be sold does not mean that they are selling less portable and desktop computers. This is the clear message that wished to Sean Maloney, director of global sales and marketing for Intel.

The management has assured that whoever you are buying your first home computer was not in favor of a NETBOOK but these teams are the second or third option for those who already have a personal computer, either laptop or desktop.

“I do not think that buying a computer for the first time a NETBOOK prefer,” he said Sean Maloney. “The first time you buy something you want something really powerful,” he admitted, while ensuring that no cree that the trend will change in coming years.

However, the manager has admitted that sales of ‘netbooks’ will continue to grow at a pace similar to the current as second computers or even as an option for children.

“Now there’s a new product category in the market, and is maturing,” he concludes.

Hewlett-Packard launched its new Mini Note, much more powerful than their predecessors, who had a small hard drive and little functionality.
The HP Mini 110-1020 and Mini 110-1030 are so tiny they can be stored in bags and backpacks, thanks to its weight of just over a kilo, a total thickness of 2.6 inch and 10.1-inch screen.

CONNECTS

Be clear that it is not a NETBOOK notebook. Such composed mini is designed for people who need to be connected to the internet to check email, go to Twitter to Facebook and the blog.
You can execute various tasks such as text editing and powerpoint templates, but not intended to put a very specific software nor heavy. Remember that it is not a notebook.
What is new, apart from the hard drive of 160 gigs, is that it has a VGA output (photo 1) to connect to an external monitor, a feature that was missing from its predecessors.
You do not have a mouse, but a touch pad that serves to move the cursor and double click to select the objects. It also has two buttons for more functionality. (photo 2).

DESIGN

To make the experience even more enjoyable, the models come in two colors. Black boys and pink for “chic” for the lady.
In addition to color, have an embedded design that gives a special touch and style to the experience of surfing the web (picture 3).
It has 1GB of RAM (expandable to 2) and allows a wireless Wi-Fi, plus access to mobile broadband modems.
It has no bluetooth connection, but it brings a program to synchronize data between different devices.

Samsung has made some surgical procedures to your N110 to U.S. $ 470, ranked second. Just a few months, the company released its first NETBOOK the NC10. That machine was an admirable performance in most cases (which earned him an average score of 35 in WorldBench 6), but had some design problems, specifically, with a touch frustrating buttons difficult to press.

owever, the N110 a little thinner lines and mouse buttons that react very well. We added a larger battery that lasts 8 hours and 23 minutes with a set of software quite attractive (for a regular laptop, much less a NETBOOK) and the N110 is a PC ready to travel.

Is not clear who started, but there is a new kind of laptop is now called “NETBOOK” which offers some important features. Companies like Asus, Acer, Lenovo and others are offering these products in a hurry but what are they?

Could be defined as between a laptop and use a smart phone with a keyboard. The NETBOOK were invented, it seems, for cases in which required using a computer, but do not need to carry a laptop “complete” or are larger teams. One of its main characteristics is that they work with the new Intel Atom processor, which offers better performance, lower power consumption and WiFi connectivity, a key element in such devices.

One of the main attractions that have excelled in this line of equipment is its price, which starts at $ 400. For that amount of money I get from a laptop? Yes and no. Precisely to reduce costs, some manufacturers offer the option-without-like Windows and instead install a Linux variant called Limpus. This avoids the license fee to Microsoft and lowers the cost, but also that can not be run traditional applications such as Office and other well-known in the Windows environment. Of course, the machines come with OpenOffice and a lot of open source programs, which do not require the payment of licenses and which do the same, but are not the same.
After many twists and turns him, still do not know that either type of user they are addressed. Many years ago using laptops, so leave it as normal computer, where they can work well is the norm in a cafe in the airport, in offices, in the end, this is precisely one of the advantages of these machines.

To save costs and maximize the battery, many of these machines do not come with traditional hard drive, instead, offered as a replacement memory cards in capacities of 8GB by typical example, more than enough space for what they are thinking.

Asus, Acer and Lenovo are actively developing and selling its first model with Netbooks and Atom sure we shall soon see versions of HP, Toshiba, Dell and others. Time will tell who will buy and to use them. I imagine, for example, to be a hit among students because the price is undoubtedly a factor in the Argentine market.

According to report from DigiTimes, Asus and Acer will focus on ultralight notebooks, a left-footed half amid the euphoria of the smallest family of laptops.

For this reason, coupled with the launch of Windows 7, which can run without problems within a current NETBOOK. But the launch of Pine Trail-M grant a better user experience.

The Head of Acer netBook Monday introduced an inexpensive NETBOOK just closely in many aspects to make the experience of implementation and user laptops much more expensive. Its 11.6-inch screen, as compared to 10 normal move-little by little you or smaller display NETBOOK, the aspire one A0751h should be a pleasure to use.

The keyboard and the screen lit against conduct-may be larger than NETBOOK users are accustomed to, but one thing about the new Acer remain very pleasantly familiar: Price. With a list price of $ 350, the aspire one A0751h approaching the bottom of the assessment NETBOOK.

He wasn ‘t supposed to be this way, but the netBook are poised to cannibalize sales of traditional NETBOOK. Commencement while positioned as devices for Web surfing and email, keep the pressure of increasing competition specs. NETBOOK design. The new Acer, based on Intel ‘processor atom s, isn ‘ t as powerful as the average laptop, but for such customers a low price seems to be willing to give on speed.

The attractiveness of a computer almost dirt-cheap that offers Wi-Fi, a gig of memory, the 160MB hard drive, Windows Xp home, and weighs 2.75 pounds is huge. And, oh yes, he will run for up to eight hours on a charge and comes in a beautiful sapphire-blue. What ’s not to love?

If potential customers understand the value-proposition that the aspirate A0751h represents, it can be sold to people who aren ‘t even looking for a NETBOOK like me.

I le ‘VE netBook watching for months and had seen the machines Acer and # 2 manufacturer Asustek for several months. I le ‘VE set off by tiny screens and tiny keyboards particularly common to 10-inch models. Increase the screen size to 11.6 inches wide and things get interesting.

The input keyboard for my greatest large hands while the larger screen may be easier on my post-age-40 notes. The weight and the lifetime of the battery are important too, as I can carry this machine in my towel without heavy power supply, in many cases, and not note the additional load. Again, what ’s not to love?

The performance won la ‘t match a true laptop does, but how many apps I have to really run at the same time? I would not buy this machine to run the Adobe suite above just word processing, simple assessments, communications, and a web browser. To this end, the atom processor should be good. How does a fast word processor should really be?

This kind of thinking could prove dangerous. While driving the market NETBOOK with almost a third of all netBook sold (according to DisplaySearch), the Acer was hit by shrinking profits and declining sales. This new machine is it a case of taking a small loss on each unit, but to make it back in volume?

I can just break out my checkbook and recession-ravaged hope for the best.
