It seems that not very good news for the Acer, because his early NETBOOK with Android and announced that for a couple of weeks ago there was talk that much. Acer now has to delay the whole project because of a single brand: Intel.

According to Digitimes the main reason that Acer has to delay the project because Intel does not offer a replacement for the Atom processor N270 and N280. Although the processor N280 is very sought after by those who want a more advanced NETBOOK which Acer (and other brands) is that Intel wants to launch once its Atom processor N450.

According to Intel, this new platform is ready to be sent to manufacturers in the first quarter of 2010, a date so far for comment, always rumors, which would be the date of launch of Android NETBOOK with Acer.

But .. Is it bad? Currently the market for netbooks continues to grow, it seems incredible that after the explosion that has taken in late 2008 and early 2009, Windows XP remains the main operating system on all these laptops and what we have seen, these Android small laptop for now is … “a toy.”

Why do not expect Google Chrome OS? Come on, it is clear that giving a NETBOOK a O.S. Android is nothing more than to prepare the way for the arrival of Google Chrome the OS. I have no doubt that Android is solid and very versatile, but I doubt that installing a NETBOOK in a device as large, will be a big boom, Chrome OS is the answer for many users who do not want to netbooks Windows will not want to sully their hands by installing Ubuntu or any Linux distribution.

Obviously, netbooks will have more power and better fuel efficiency.

According to report from DigiTimes, Asus and Acer will focus on ultralight notebooks, a left-footed half amid the euphoria of the smallest family of laptops.

For this reason, coupled with the launch of Windows 7, which can run without problems within a current NETBOOK. But the launch of Pine Trail-M grant a better user experience.

Then, the netbooks that are now have a Asus Eee PC models T91, touchscreen, the T101 and the other with Android. Acer is also intended to introduce in late 2009 with a Google operating system for cell phones.
