It may be a nightmare for anybony who use Internet Explorer 7, because this browser force the user to use BING as default search engine and many of you try to remove BING from your internet browser.
At this time there is no program to delete Bing, the new search engine from Microsoft, automatically. For you who run XP Pro operating system will find difficulties because Bing search engines will takes up to much RAM to run and cause many other problems.
Just go to the top right corner of Internet Explorer 7, and you will found there is the default search engine
Then go to its right side which display the search sign or a magnifying glass, next to it you will found a drop down windows or arrow sign
Click this drop down windows or arrow sign, and choose change search defaults.
Windows will be pop up. What you have to do is to choose live search and click on remove.
Hoilaaaa !!! …. the Bing search engine remove and you can enjoy more faster browser now

The above fix i just posted worked great for me..
The other method didn’t work on IE6.
I also tried clicking ‘Search’ and then ‘change preferences’ from there selecting ‘google’ instead of ‘msn’.
That DID NOT help..
The trick on twitter worked great..
(note that you won’t be able to reach bing.com if you use that trick, but I probably won’t try bing amyway just because of microsoft forcing it on me)

I am one of the folks who also had a hard time removing Bing/live search, in fact I could not get IE8 to let me set any other search to the default search DESPITE going through HOURS of looking over and adjust MANY of the various settings.
I FINALLY found something that worked, I installed Google toolbar 6.0, this installlation application brought up a dialog box that told me that google was already my default search (though everything in IE 8 still showed Live Search) and it asked if I wanted to replace it with this new instance of it, I chose to aprove the new version as my default and it actually became the DEFAULT IN THE SEARCH BOX, YIPPIE!
Then, I was actually able to DELETE live Search from the list of searches (under “manage search providers”), after which I unistalled Google toolbar as I actually did not want the extraneous toolbar, hopefully this will still work through a shut down and restart, if it does not, then the Bing/live search really would be acting like a nasty malicious virus.
