Bing in the search market share, compared with Google, is actually lower than the share of Safari browser compared to IE, according to statistics gathered by Net Applications.
A historical analysis of web search brands published by Microsoft RoughlyDrafted shows that the news surrounding the fervor Bing is hugely exaggerated.
Few experts are issuing weekly updates on the progress of Safari through Internet Explorer, Safari still has not progressed steadily over the past five years, from a 1.5% share of browser market in 2004 to the current 8 5% share, based on historical statistics published by the NET website.
However, Bing, the latest version (not unlike Safari 4.0) of Microsoft’s search sites, represent a business that has declined significantly since 2004. Combined search of Microsoft properties, including MSN Search, Live Search, Windows Live Search, and Bing, fell from a 14% share of search in 2004 to the current 5.9%.

The upper chart shows the implementation of the Red historical figures of the three major Web search providers and web browser (Microsoft’s search properties are combined together). The left edge of the graph shows an annual scale, the far right shows a monthly scale. Google is constantly increasing its share of searches on the Web Microsoft despite the grouping of search with Windows, while the IE is losing market share dramatically, despite its monopoly-tying.
