Bing Microsoft search engine was launched in the United States over the weekend, officially launched the latest attempt to wrest a larger slice of the online search market profit of the incumbent Google.
Since Monday, Bing.com presented a home decorated with colors of hot air balloons against a rise of the desert backdrop. The page also included links to search specific categories such as news, movies, shopping, maps, and Travel.
Also present were tabs that direct users to bonuses such as Microsoft “Cashback” program of research awards and links to pages for developers and webmasters.
Bing, according to Microsoft, is designed to provide a more functional than other search engines, including Google. Ie, applications for entry Bing yield not only information related to research, but also links to sites where users can shop and engage in other activities.

Microsoft launches a number of products and technologies in Bing in an effort to present a coherent face to users. Redmond in the past has been criticized for offering a confusing range of products under many brand names such as MSN Search, Live Search and Windows Live Search.
